Pet System
In the game “The Ragnarok,” there are three tiers of pets: Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
- Rare pets include: Poring, Savage Babe, Isis.
- Epic pets include: Alice, Orc Warrior, Nine Tail, Strouf.
- Legendary pets include: Eddga, Golden Thief Bug, Joker.
Higher-tier pets have better base stats and increased skill power according to their tier. Additionally, each pet has unique skill focuses, for example:
- Savage Babe and Alice focus on attack.
- Poring specializes in defense and can generate a shield for the player character.
How to Upgrade and Rank Up Pets
Once players acquire a pet, they can go to the pet interface to upgrade, rank up, and bring pets into battle. Upgrades require pet experience books obtained from pet-capture boxes, and ranking up requires multiple copies of the same pet.
Pet Rank Up Requirements
- Rare pets (Ranks 1-6) require 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 pets, respectively, for each rank.
- Epic pets (Ranks 1-6) require 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 pets, respectively, for each rank.
- Legendary pets (Ranks 1-6) require only 1 pet at each rank.
Players can deploy up to 4 pets in battle and can switch pets based on the situation via the skill interface.
Pet Skills
Each pet has unique skills, such as:
- Poring: Every 30 seconds, generates a shield for the owner, absorbing damage equal to (PET P.ATK 500% + PET M.ATK 500%) for 10 seconds.
- Savage Babe: Deals Earth-element DMG equal to (PET P.ATK * 450%) to enemies, with a 30% chance to stun the target for 2 seconds. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
Upgrading and Ranking Up
- Upgrading pets requires pet experience books, which are obtained from pet capture boxes.
- Ranking up enhances the pet’s attack power, critical rate, accuracy, and boosts the player character’s attack stats.
Ranking up pets requires duplicates of the same pet type and Zeny.
Pet Reset
- Resetting a pet returns it to its original egg form.Â
- All rank and development information reset to the starting state.Â
- The petâs experience level is partially refunded as pet experience books, amounting to 70% of the previous experience level, while the remaining 30% is not refunded.

Rune Statue System
The Rune Statue is a special system that enhances characters’ power according to their needs. Runes are divided into three types as follows:
- Attack Runes include:
- P.ATK Rune
- M.ATK Rune
- HIT Rune
- CRI Rune
- CRI DMG Rune
- ASPD Rune
- Defense Runes include:
- P.DEF Rune
- M.DEF Rune
- Flee Rune
- CRI RES Rune
- Ignore Crit Rune
- Mix Runes include:
- HP Rune
- SP Rune
Note: ASPD Runes can only be obtained from the Rune Exchange Shop.
Installing Runes
Rune slots are divided into two types: Attack and Defense. Runes can only be installed in the matching slot type. However, Mix Runes can be installed in both Attack and Defense slots. Runes of the same type cannot be installed multiple times in the Rune Statue.
Upgrading Runes
Each rune upgrade requires Zeny and specific runes. The upgrade process depends on the type of rune being upgraded. Upon a successful upgrade, the rune advances to a higher level, granting increased stat bonuses. The maximum rune level is 7.
Resonance Status
When all installed runes in the Rune Statue are upgraded to levels 2, 5, and 7, special abilities of the Rune Statue are unlocked at each milestone.
Unlocking the Rune Statue
The Rune Statue unlocks in pairs, unlocking both the Attack and Defense types simultaneously. Each unlock stage has specific requirements, such as reaching a certain level and upgrading runes to at least level 5.
Dawn Battle
The Dawn Battle is a special map where players can obtain or collect Runes through battles. This map is especially challenging due to the presence of a powerful MVP Boss, ready to test players’ strength. Additionally, it’s a PvP map, allowing players to attack other adventurers at any time!
For those who succeed in defeating the MVP Boss, a high-quality Rune awaits as a special reward, empowering characters to become even stronger. Get ready for an intense adventure in the Dawn Battle!
